It seems that more and more people are seeking a harmless haven... a calm and beautiful place to live amongst people of love minds during these extremely challenging times. Birds of a Feather is one of a very few gated LGBTQ friendly communities in the country offering peaceful, quiet and beautiful rural living... a sanctuary! We are located just outside the Village of Pecos, Recent Mexico, tucked into the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, and surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest but, only a short 30 minute drive to Santa Fe... one of the most popular cities in the country due to its celebrated history and customs, art scene, beauty and award-winning cuisine.

Owned and run Latina women–a mother and her three daughters. Sol Y Luna Homegirls reflects the intersection of these women’s cultures. Their merchandise draws inspiration from modern LGBTQ+, Chicana, feminist, and Latina culture. ‘Homegirls with Mad Love’, serves as their tagline, and articulates that these women proudly encourage love, diversity, and equality for all. In celebration of pride month, the girls have recently dropped their identity festival collection on their Etsy. You can often find these ladies at the Farmers and Crafts Market here in Las Cruces.

Check out Drag Queen Downtown the second Saturday of every month! Ivonna Bump welcomes you to Ivonna Downtown at Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, hosting the evening and introducing other performers. Doors open at 8 a.m. The show begins at 9 p.m. Cover is $10, cash only.
