Is sean astin gay

Radar_ — Every occasion Sean Astin makes a statement on whether...

Every time Sean Astin makes a statement on whether or not Sam and Frodo were indeed gay for each other in lord of the rings he’s always like “well we have to thank that attitudes around sexuality have changed dramatically over the past several decades and since authorial intent is only up to speculation, the story is open to multiple readings, some of which might own different significances for different groups of people also they kiss on the lips because I said so”

at the rose urban area comic con panel this month a fan asked them (sean and elijah) if sam and frodo were in love and they said

Sean: .....yes. absolutely

Elijah: 100 percent.

Sean: dont tell rosie

Rosie: "This is my husband Sam, and that's his husband, Frodo. Frodo is my husband-in-law. I'm not into him, he's he's a bit too 'elfy' for my taste, but Sam likes him, and that's satisfactory with me. As far as I know, Frodo can't give Sam children, but Frodo looks after ours all the same, so I don't consciousness sharing Sam if it means another pair of eyes on the wee ones. In all honesty, our family tree is right simple compared to some

"Mercy!" cried Gandalf: "if the giving of information is to be the remedy of your inquisitiveness, I shall expend all the stop of my days in answering you. What do you want to know?"

THREE AT ONCE

Q: I'm going to view my fourth trilogy of the lord of the rings today (extended version) and I was wondering if you had ever seen the trilogy? And if yes, how many times?

A: I have yet to watch any of the three films on DVD but would appreciate one day to see them one after the other where they most belong, on the big screen.

ELIJAH WOOD - GAY?

Q: My question is in regard to the LOTR commentary in which Ian McKellen states that both Elijah Wood and Sean Astin are two "resolutely heterosexual" actors. In bright of the unwavering rumors, why did Ian feel the need to address for Elijah? Isn't Elijah big enough to answer for himself? I for one would love to see Elijah FINALLY go on record and speak once and for that he is heterosexual. I am sick of him "laughing" at us

Sean Astin stans Sam/Frodo relationship

At the end of ROTK, Frodo doesn't say Legolas' name or react much at all when he sees him again in Rivendell. People joke that it's because Frodo & Legolas are the two of the Fellowship who never really speak, don't share a connection, and don't seem close at all, so it's just funny realistic continuity. However, what I've realised is that during the closing scenes of the ultimate film, Frodo doesn't realise right away he's alive and well healing in Rivendell, nor does he know that any of his friends have survived (or reincarnated, in Gandalf's case), and this affects how he greets each surviving member of the Fellowship.

He sees Gandalf first, someone he presumed gone, and from his sheer incredulous delight it seems he can't believe his eyes. For all Frodo knows, he is in the Halls Of Mandos (essentially, the mortal Heaven or Afterlife in Tolkien), and so it makes sense that the Maia (primordial spirit) known as Gandalf/Mithrandir has, in his endless compassion, come to bid him welcome. Frodo never expected to notice Gandalf again in being, and knowing little about the Istari or the Maiar, he likely didn't count on a reincarnation. They share

There were several times when Sam held Frodo, especially in Mordor. Sometimes this was due to temperature, sometimes (as in the tower of Cirith Ungol) pure Morale-- Frodo had been stripped, interrogated, and beaten by orcs, and a return to a safe haven was desperately needed. Nothing sexual involved.

Something else that people forget easily is that when folks travel together under difficult circumstances and are depending on each other for very survival, barriers sometimes come down of neccessity. On glaciers, climbers often zip sleeping bags together to share body warmth-- for survival, not sex. I include heard stories of glacier climbers having to cure one of their team members of hypothermia. Back in the early eighties, the cure involved stripping everybody to the skin, and pigpiling the healthy team members on top of the hypothermia sufferer in order to transfer body heat, meanwhile pouring hot liquids down their throat. It's not about sex; the team is trying to save the existence of somebody t
