Gay ibiza
Ibiza is considered one of the superior European LGBTQIA hotspots, with many contending that it's the best of all. Why? Ibiza is a clubbers and hedonists paradise and if that doesn't attract gay and people of all other sexual orientations, we don't realize what does.
There's so much more to it than that though. Ibiza had one of the first organised, if clandestine, gay scenes in Spain in the 60's – in short the island has a long history with gay culture as you will notice when you step around the Male lover and LGBTQIA area in Ibiza Town.
As well as a very good consecrated gay scene, you'll find that many places are mixed: here sexual orientation is pretty much a non-issue. There are some LGBTQIA / mixed nights in the super clubs, though you will find that just about most club nights are going to be LGBTQIA friendly. With so many world-beating and hugely formative club nights, you owe it to yourself to craft it part of your experience.
Gay bars and clubs are mainly located in Ibiza Town, the fortified old town Dalt Vila and the suburb Figueretas – it's the gay hub of the island, especially in and around the street of Calle de la Virgen in the port area where you'll see much col

Gay Ibiza – the foremost gay hotels, bars, clubs & more
Ibiza has a reputation for being the big party island of Spain! And the deceptively small Balearic island has lovingly nurtured this feral child reputation since as far back as the swinging 1960s, when the island attracted a unpredictable mix of hippies, artists, and free spirits drawn to its anything-goes atmosphere and sunny beaches. The 1970s saw the increase of iconic clubs enjoy Pacha, which blended disco culture with the island’s bohemian vibe, and by the 1980s, Ibiza had become a hub for electronic music, with world-renowned DJs flocking to participate at its legendary open-air venues. The gays contain always been part of that, of course—aren't we always—and to this afternoon, the small island remains a firm favorite for members of the LGBTQ+ community looking to include some fun in the sun.
But Ibiza is more than just parties. It's also stunningly beautiful in parts, with gorgeous secret beaches, a boutique shop-filled historic center where the old city wall still stands, and exquisite beachside restaurants serve some of Spain's best Mediterranean cuisine. So, whether you’re there to party, sun yourself on paradisical beaches, or just
