Question about Hallmark Channel shows/movies
Czarcasm1
Have there ever been any Hallmark Channel shows or movies featuring a male lover, lesbian or trans person romantic storyline?

I assume it’s possible, but given their programming content, and what I know about Hallmark, it’s cute unlikely. Hallmark is a really conservative, traditional company, and they don’t even depict (or even suggest) premarital heterosexual sex in their films.

There hasn’t been any. But that may change.
There was a controversy involving the Hallmark Channel a couple of months ago. They refused to wind a commercial featured a same-sex couple getting married. This caused a significant protest.
And Hallmark listened. They publicly reversed their decision and aired the commercial. They announced their initial decision had been wrong. And they also announced they were now “open” to airing movies that depict same-sex relationships.

Upon further review, the address appears to be a firm “no.”
As per this article from late last year, when there was a rare days of poor PR for Hallmark when they refused to run an ad for a wedding-planning company tha

I'm thrilled to see that Hallmark has "Gay Marriage" wedding cards. They are very tasteful. Maybe 3 or 4 designs.
Seems some people are very unhappy about it. I say Excellent FOR HALLMARK!!
I'm proud of them!!
I am also happy to see that Hallmark has decided on "Gay Marriage" cards. However, why does there have to be a new line? As long as the card doesn't say bride & groom, couldn't you use a regular wedding card?
Congratulations to Hallmark for putting in this new line. As Jason said they contain a card for everything else.
Congratulations to Hallmark for putting in this new line. As Jason said they own a card for everything else.
That's far from the truth. Unless you are Caucasian, African American, or Hispanic, you'll be challenging pressed to find a card with your ethnicity. Some specialized areas, yes, but in most places, no.
I haven't seen these new cards yet, but we (Hallmark) have always had cards that were appropiate for such unions. In our "Journey cards" we even have a card for Coming Out! I consider it's great!
I think that is disgusting.

He shares that, “The Groomsmen came about because I got married two years ago and I had groomsmen in my wedding.
