[This story contains spoilers from the seventh episode of Doctor Odyssey, “Oh, Daddy!”]
It was “Gay Week” on Doctor Odyssey, and the Ryan Murphy-produced series addressed the (almost) throuple in the room.
At the end of last week’s episode, the show’s core trio of Max (Joshua Jackson), Avery (Phillipa Soo) and Tristan (Sean Teale) decided to form their relationship a little less platonic. After declaring that a threesome was on each of the character’s bucket lists, Avery tells her two potential suitors she’d be open to one, which forces Tristan into action. Max eventually joins the group, in a fade-to-black moment.
The first moments of this week’s episode — titled “Oh, Daddy!” — kicked off with Don Johnson’s Captain Robert guessing queer lingo ahead of the ship’s “Gay Week,” telling the ship that his younger brother, guest star John Stamos, will be aboard with his recent boyfriend.
“Relax, Daddies are in. They’re having a moment, as the kids say,” Johnson̵
Q: Can someone be both lesbian and asexual? I can’t wrap my brain around this one.
A: Sure, a person can be asexual while also being queer . . . because asexuality is a spectrum, and that spectrum is broad and huge and includes people who exposure sexual attraction and sometimes pick to act on their sexual attraction. Basically, some asexual guys want boyfriends but don’t wanna fuck ’em at all, other asexual guys want boyfriends but don’t wanna fuck ’em much. It’s really not that confusing . . . unless you happen to be dating a guy who either doesn’t understand he’s asexual or knows it and hasn’t told you, in which case you’re likely to be as confused as you are frustrated.
Q: I’m a recently divorced 53-year-old bi-curious woman living on the East Coast. I was with my ex for most of my life and he never mentioned this, but since I have begun online dating, each new partner has told me how tight I am. You would think this was a good thing! I recently began dating a man who says he loves how tight I am. However, he also says it is making him come posthaste. His marriage recently ended too, so he hasn’t had a lot of sexual experience either. So, I don
I've got the world’s first threesomes PhD. This is what I’ve learned
In another case, I spoke to a bloke who’d had a threesome as one of his earliest sexual experiences when he was on a school trip at 16. During a party, he had started to get with a girl that he’d had a long-running thing with and they were suddenly joined by another, older girl. He told me that, “It started to get sexual. So oral sex, and hands on genitalia, fingering. At that stage, the first girl left, which kind of slightly haunts me to this day. Because nothing ever then happened between us after that.”
For the majority of the people I spoke to who had had a threesome while in a relationship, the operate itself was rarely a source of issues - rather it was the lack of exchange. So I would say being dispel with yourself and each other people is essential.
In future, I want to build on my research and watch at men who have had MMF threesomes while in a relationship. A lot of the guys I’ve been speaking to said they were interested in MMF threesomes but not with a partner of theirs. Is that related to how secure they touch in their relationship? Or whether they've come to terms with feelings of jeal
Jacob Buckenmyer, you had me at “lumberjack.”
While I’m on a mini-vacation this week, I started binge watching new Netflix series The Four Seasons. No, not the hotel, but if it does sound familiar it’s probably because it’s a reboot of the 1981 movie with the same title.
The eight-episode saga follows three married couples in their late 40s/early 50s, one being a fantastic gay couple, as they navigate decades drawn-out relationships. It truly highlights the little – and big things – we do for our partners, some which fade over time, and it really hits home that marriage takes work.
The Four Seasons stars Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani and Erika Henningsen. While Steve Carell is looking pretty zaddy, Colman Domingo is my forever zombie killer and Kerri Kenney still keeps me laughing on Reno 911 reruns… my attention quite quickly turned to Jacob Buckenmyer.
Buckenmyer guest stars in episode five, which features a threesome between sizzling hot men – albeit one that doesn’t travel exactly as planned. He’s referred to in the episode and credited simply as “the
