A revolutionary new kind of politics – beyond work, scarcity and capitalism.

Fully Automated Luxury Communism promises a radically new left future for everyone. New technologies will liberate us from work, providing the opportunity to assemble a society beyond both capitalism and scarcity. Automation, rather than undermining an economy built on full employment, is instead the way to a earth of liberty, luxury and happiness. Solar power will convey the energy that we need, while asteroid mining will deliver the necessary resources, allowing us to end the devastation of our environment. Innovations in AI, gene rewriting, food technology will leads us to new ways of living better lives.

In his first book, drastic political commentator Aaron Bastani conjures a new politics: a vision of a world of unimaginable hope, highlighting how we move to energy abundance, feed a world of nine billion, overcome work, transcend the limits of biology and build meaningful

Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism — Or Bust

They’ve long been waiting for us those enormous and distant planets
Those cold and silent planets deep in the universe
But there is no earth wherever we have landed that waits for us like this one our dear planet Earth

My friends, I believe that the fast rocket fleet
Will carry us on From one star to the next.
On those distant planets our trails will remain
And maintain dusty prints of our steps.
On those distant planets our trails will remain
And keep dusty prints of our steps.

Millenial socialists have set their eyes on the stars. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweets about Star Trek forming her political perception. DSA members obsessively read the works of Kim Stanley Robinson, Iain Banks, and Ursula K. Le Guin. Young leftists pitch space-themed May Day parties and decorate their apartments in Soviet space propaganda. But it’s unclear why they’re so eager to explore the cosmos. We act not live in a golden age of space exploration. In mainstream culture, space itself has become a playground for the billionaire class. We are told that the final frontier

Fully automated room communism (very gay)
I was trying to come up with the concept to utilise utopian living standarts and come up with this-

ETHICS- F egalitarian (10% more consumer goods production along with other things)
Materialist (required for mechanist civics, less robot upkeep)

Civics- start with technocracy and mechanist. Later we will add enviromentalist becase OMG CONSUMER GOODS UPKEEP IS INSANE. Maybe replace technocracy with bureaucracy.

Species launch with rapid breeders trait. Later we will add communal and conservationist. We will also half ascend into cyborgs because it also increases robot create speed. We will not fully ascend because it will require synths and ai rights we and dont desire that.

Our tactic is to built droids. A lot of them. And let them grab every single occupation that they can work. Droids are amazing- they possess small housing and upkeep usage. Chemical-free pops will be working as researchers, rulers and harmony generators (i consider droids cant operate unity jobs?). When organical population runs out of jobs- we will trigger utopian living standarts. This will grant us even more unity and analyze, while hopefully not destroying our eco

About

Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism is a phrase linked with far left movements on the internet. It envisions an idealistic culture where gender norms own been abolished to such an extent that there is little to no difference between gay and straight, and due to automation, luxury is ready to all people. Some communities substitute "queer" for "gay" as it is perceived as more inclusive. Other communities replace "Communism" with more specific ideologies such as Anarchism. The term has inspired the creation of communism-themed memes and image macros.

Origin

Fully Automated Luxury Communism, listed on Wikipedia under "Post-scarcity Economy," is a philosophy which first began appearing in works of science fiction and academic theory.
