Gay Bars in Lisbon

The leading time to go out to the bars in the Bairro Alto quarter – where it is pleasantly difficult to express which bar is gay or gay-friendly or ›hetero-friendly‹ or whatever – is between 23:00 and 02:00. The bars in the Príncipe Real area tend to be more late-night and more exclusively gay.

Official opening hours should not be taken too seriously. On quiet days some bars might close earlier or don't open at all without any further notice.
