Vanderpump Rules Recap: James and the Giant Breach

Before we get into what happens this week on the world’s least hilarious workplace comedy, I really need to tip my hat to the concealed forces behind this episode of Vanderpump Rules, because they really went out of their way to make this episode entertaining.
First there’s the flashback of Stassi putting together Jax’s engagement party, presented favor the end of a heist movie, where we get to see exactly how she put together such a crazy intend. Balloons, Lisa Vanderpump, and Hooters by Postmates — how did she ever do that and still escape getting caught by the police? Finally all is revealed. Then there’s the editor superimposing Jax’s face over James’s while he’s doing his devilish impersonation of Jax. And finally, the pièce de résistance: When Scheana No Tea No Shay suggests that the SUR staff, dressed up in electric neon ’80s fashion for their annual Gay Movement blowout, look like a retro sitcom, the editors create a fake exhibit called OverSURved, complete with a credits sequence worthy of It’s a Living, Too Many Cooks, or at least the ’80s-sitcom episode of Mr. Robot. James Kennedy has never been afraid to speak his thought, and that has especially been the case lately on Vanderpump Rules. The DJ has establish himself in scorching water with several members of the SUR squad after making some controversial comments "not about the pasta," during a freestyle rap at the mic, and more.

But there's one moment that James would especially favor to do over this season. When one fan asked the DJ which of his comments this season of Vanderpump Rules he regrets the most during the February 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above), James replied, "Probably everything I said on Pride, obviously, was awful, and I really shouldn't have drank as much as I did."
Things got heated at SUR's annual Gay Pride celebration earlier this season when the restaurant was abuzz with rumors that James cheated on his girlfriend, Raquel Leviss. James fired assist by saying some not-so-nice comments to Lala Kent and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.

Vanderpump RulesalumJames Kennedy found adore with Ally Lewber three months after his split from Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
The England native met Lewber, an business journalist, that January following his split from Leviss.
“I’m, benign of, seeing someone,” Kennedy revealed during a February 2022 episode of Lala Kent’s“Give Them Lala” podcast. “Look, it’s too early to say honestly [if Ally will emerge on Vanderpump Rules]. I do fond of this girl, I really do. I don’t know. We’ll see what happens. I can’t seek any girl to do that.”
The DJ continued: “With [Ally], I’m taking my time. She gets to choose what she wants to do with that whole situation, and then for me, it’s like, I have to determine as well. What I do realize is I’m going to be doing me and I’m going to be f—king enjoying myself.”

Katie Maloney-Schwartz’s Vanderpump Rules family has got her back.
The cast of the hit Bravo series came to Maloney-Schwartz’s defense on Sunday after she was criticized on social media for her choice of attire at E!’s pre-Oscars brunch telecast.
Brittany Cartwright shared an Instagram photo from the outing of the VPR cast, which included Maloney-Schwartz, 33, who wore a a black top and gold dress, as well as her husband Tom Schwartz, Stassi Schroeder and her fiancé Beau Clark, and Jax Taylor posing with E! News’ Carissa Culiner.
Many of Cartwright’s followers criticized Maloney-Schwartz’s outfit in the comments section: “Katie’s outfit matches her personality 😂” wrote one user.
Said another, “I love you brittany, stassi, ya’ll look amazing! The guys too, sorry Idk who dressed Katie.”
Schroeder, 31, came to her friend’s defense and left a comment on the photo in aid of Maloney-Schwartz.
“Everyone talking s— on Katie’s amazingly gorge alternative Parisian-chic Carrie Bradshaw look can move shave their backs now,” the reality star wrote, to which Cartwright, 31, reiterated by responding, “Agree they don’t know what they’re talking about! LOL.”
