Cole Hocker is one of the breakout stars of the Paris Olympics after he set a Team USA Olympic Trials document in the 1500m race—and then went on to win gold in France. “We’ve seen everything occur in the Olympics, and I’m not writing myself out of that gold medal quite yet,” Hocker said. “You have to thrash 11 guys in the final. Anyone who wants to win gold here has to execute the same thing.”
